BURTON ON THE WOLDS PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENT PARKING ISSUES

The Parish Council wish to reiterate the request made by the Head Teacher weekly via Parentmail regarding dangerous and inconsiderate parking on Barrow Road and Towles Fields, Burton on the Wolds. The police will be attending site in the coming months during drop off and pick up times to speak to parents and take action as necessary. For many years the Greyhound Inn has offered the use of their car park for parent parking at both ends of the school day and we would ask that those driving into the village to our school use this facility.

ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Loughborough Road, Burton on the Wolds. The purpose of the TTRO is to safely allow Leicestershire County Council undertake carriageway patching works and will incorporate a temporary road closure. The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 day commencing on Saturday 26th October 2019.
